This 2-Ingredient Watermelon Ice Cream Is Summer in a Pint!
When it’s blazing hot out, nothing hits like a cold, creamy scoop of watermelon ice cream. This easy Ninja Creami recipe requires only two ingredients, yet tastes like a store-bought favorite.
If you like simple fruit Creami recipes, you’ll also love my mango ice cream and my popular Dole Whip.

I first made watermelon sorbet in my Ninja Creami. It turned out great—super refreshing and simple, kind of like my go-to strawberry or homemade Dole Whip.
But this version? Total game-changer.
It’s creamy, sweet, and tastes like childhood in a cone.
Just like my mango sorbet, it proves that you don’t need a long ingredient list to make something amazing.
Only two ingredients. No gums, pudding, or stuff you can’t pronounce.

Why You’ll Want to Make This on Repeat
- Only 2 ingredients—no gums, pudding mix, or weird stuff
- Refreshing and creamy, not icy like a typical sorbet
- Tastes like store-bought watermelon ice cream but way easier
- Kid-approved and adult-loved
- Perfect summer treat when it’s way too hot to bake
What You’ll Need: Just These Two!
No measurements here, just the why. Scroll down to the recipe card for exact amounts.

- Fresh Watermelon – Seedless is best. Cut into chunks and frozen for that creamy texture.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk – Adds richness and sweetness without needing extra sugar or gums.
Want to Switch It Up? Try These Tweaks
- No condensed milk? Use full-fat coconut milk for a dairy-free version. Add sugar.
- No fresh watermelon? Use frozen watermelon chunks from the store.
- No blender? A food processor works just fine.
- Add a pinch of sea salt to balance the sweetness
Let’s Make It! (The Easy Way)
All you need to do is toss the watermelon chunks and sweetened condensed milk into a blender and blitz it until smooth. That’s your base!

Pour it into a Ninja Creami Deluxe pint container and freeze it on a level surface for 24 hours. The next day, spin it on “Lite Ice Cream” mode, and if it’s a little crumbly (totally normal), give it a quick re-spin.

That’s it—scoop, serve, and enjoy your new go-to summer obsession.
👪Serving Size
This recipe was made using the Ninja Creami Deluxe, so it makes about 4 generous servings. Perfect for sharing… or not.
🌀Tools You’ll Need
- Blender: Makes mixing ingredients effortless.
- Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 Ice Cream & Frozen Treat Maker: The star of the show, perfect for creating creamy, smooth ice cream.
- Ninja Creami Pint Container: The pint container is essential for freezing and churning your ice cream mix.
Fun Topping and Mix-In Ideas
This is great plain, but here’s how to level it up:
- Mini chocolate chips (watermelon + chocolate is underrated)
- A swirl of strawberry fruit or syrup after Respin
- Lime zest for a tangy pop
Quick Tips
- If the texture is crumbly, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk and respin.
- Taste the base before freezing. It should be slightly sweeter and stronger than you want; freezing dulls both.
- To enjoy leftovers, respin in Ninja Creami, thaw slightly, or use the microwave “ice cream” setting.
Recipe FAQs
Not unless you really want to. The blender breaks it down just fine for this recipe.
Fruit bases freeze very solid. One Respin (or a splash of milk) fixes it every time.
Yes, but texture changes. Sugar is a good substitute.
