This apple cinnamon pie ice cream tastes like cold apple pie filling with vanilla ice cream melting on top- basically fall in a pint. Creamy base, warm cinnamon, real apples, and graham cracker chunks that actually taste like pie crust. I made this once “to test it” and then kept going back with a spoon. Zero regrets.

Why You’ll Love It
This one is simple, nostalgic, and surprisingly balanced.
- Creamy, scoopable texture without pudding mix
- Cottage cheese adds protein but stays totally hidden
- Half and half keeps it rich without being heavy
- Real canned apples for true pie flavor
- Graham cracker mix-ins = pie crust vibes
- Easy ingredients you probably already have
🛒Ingredients You’ll Need
No measurements here — just what each ingredient does.
- Half and half – my favorite base! This creates a rich, smooth ice cream base
- Cottage cheese – boosts protein and creaminess without tasting tangy
- Sweetened condensed milk – boosts sweetness and gives the ice cream a richer, softer scoop.
- Brown sugar – adds that warm, caramel-like pie sweetness
- Vanilla extract – rounds everything out
- Cinnamon – brings the cozy apple pie flavor
- Sea salt – sharpens the sweetness
- Canned apples – soft, sweet, and perfect for freezing
- Graham crackers – mixed in for a classic pie crust bite
Add-Ins and Swaps
- Use cinnamon graham crackers for extra flavor
- Swap canned apples for apple pie filling (drain excess syrup)
- Add a pinch of nutmeg if you want more spice depth
How to Make Apple Cinnamon Pie Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami
- Add cottage cheese, apples, half and half, condensed milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and sea salt to a blender. Blend until completely smooth. This matters.
- Pour the mixture into a 24 oz Deluxe Ninja Creami pint. Freeze on a flat surface for at least 24 hours.
- Spin on Ice Cream. If crumbly, add 1–2 tablespoons half and half and Respin.
- Add graham crackers using the Mix-In cycle.
- Serve and enjoy!
🍒Topping and Mix-In Ideas
You can keep it simple or fully lean into pie mode.
- Extra crushed graham crackers on top
- Caramel drizzle
- Cinnamon sugar sprinkle
- Chopped toasted pecans
- A dollop of whipped cream if you’re feeling fancy
Always add graham crackers during the Mix-In cycle so they don’t disappear.
Recipe Tips and Troubleshooting
These are the things that actually come up.
- Crumbly after the first spin? Totally normal. Just respin or add a splash of half and half and Respin.
- Too soft? Freeze for 10–15 minutes and scoop again.
- Grainy texture? The cottage cheese wasn’t blended smooth enough.
- Graham crackers too soggy? Add them right before serving instead of mixing in.
👪Serving Size
This recipe is made for the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe, yielding 4 servings per pint.
If you’re using a standard 16-ounce Ninja Creami pint instead of the Deluxe 24-ounce, just use two-thirds of each ingredient. Think of it as filling the pint about the same way. Just a little less of everything.
🌀Tools You’ll Need
- Blender: Makes mixing ingredients effortless.
- Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 Ice Cream & Frozen Treat Maker: The star of the show, perfect for creating creamy, smooth ice cream.
- Ninja Creami Pint Container: The pint container is essential for freezing and churning your ice cream mix.
Recipe FAQs

Ninja Creami Apple Cinnamon Pie Ice Cream
Equipment
- 1 Ninja Creami Deluxe Ice Cream maker
- 1 Ninja Creami Pint Container
- 1 Blender or food processor
Ingredients
- 1 cup half and half
- ½ cup cottage cheese
- ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of sea salt
- ½ cup canned apples chopped (for mix-in)
- 2 pieces graham crackers crushed (for mix-in)
Instructions
- Add cottage cheese, sweetened condensed milk, apples, half and half, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and sea salt to a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth. This matters.
- Pour the mixture into a 24 oz Deluxe Ninja Creami pint.
- Freeze on a flat surface for at least 24 hours.
- Spin on Ice Cream. If crumbly, respin.
- Add graham crackers using the Mix-In cycle.
Notes
- Blend until totally smooth. Cottage cheese needs to be fully blended or the texture will turn grainy after freezing.
- Freeze a full 24 hours. A solid freeze gives the Ninja Creami the right base to spin smoothly.
- Drain canned apples well. Extra liquid can create icy pockets.
- Add mix-ins last. Graham crackers go in during the Mix-In cycle to keep their texture.
- Too soft after spinning? Pop the pint back in the freezer for 10–15 minutes before scooping.
