Ingredients
- 6 teaspoons Japanese matcha green tea powder
- ¼ cup hot water
- ½ cup cottage cheese
- 1 ½ cups Half and half
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
- ½ cup Sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Mix the matcha: Stir hot water and matcha powder until smooth.6 teaspoons Japanese matcha green tea powder, ¼ cup hot water
- Blend the base: Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.½ cup cottage cheese, 1 ½ cups Half and half, 1 teaspoon Vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract, ½ cup Sweetened condensed milk
- Freeze: Pour into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze on a level surface for 24 hours.
- Spin: Use the appropriate setting on your Ninja Creami.
- Re-spin if needed: If the texture is crumbly, add a splash of milk and spin again.
- Add Mixin: Fold in the mochi pieces gently by hand. Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- Sweeten slightly more than desired – freezing dulls sweetness
